Our adorable little secretary/receptionist just made me choke on my Sobe LifeWater by saying that there's no way she is ever going to drive a minivan because, damn it, she's a MILF.
I don't think you can qualify as a MILF at age 21, even if you have procreated. At 21, you're still just a hot chick. Back me up here, people.

Meanwhile, I think you're right. Someone can only qualify as a MILF when they're old enough to have their kids male friends checking them out.
Which I'm thinking means the kids have to be at least... oh... 12? So that means the absolute MILF minimum is, say, 30? How's that sound?
And if you have kids at a later age that minimum increases, though slower than actual age.
Now when it comes to SILFs I think the minimum is 2, but I'm just guessing on the whole ovine life cycle thing.
Agreed 100% that it requires friends of progeny to satisfy the "LF" part, and that "M" by itself doesn't count for s***. Now, where I come from, 16 would be more of a traditional age of enlightenment where other people's mothers are concerned, since a 12 year old's crush isn't likely to be quite specific enough to satisfy the "LF" part, either. For my money, the kids gotta know what he wants, and how to get it. Just wanting to see someone's mom naked isn't quite there yet. (Though it's a good start). Sad truth about 47 is that DILF's are becoming more numerous than MILF's, though, for sheer eye candy, you really can't beat 'em or complain about it one bit. And, when the occasional star continues to pull off MILF status, well, then, that's a beautiful thing all on its own. (See previous comments about Catherine Deneuve).
See, I would go mid-way and say the progeny has to be 14, but I'm going solely by the fact that that's the age at which my kid sorta both realized I was a woman, not just his mom, and became excrutiatingly uncomfortable about it.

Agreed, 21 is pushing it quite a lot. Even 30 is a stretch (oops, bad word!)You'd really need a few more spins of the odometer to really get to MILF-dom.
