2.) I learned that a.) there is such a thing as Led Zep fan fic and b.) our office manager writes it. Dirty Led Zep fan fic. Which is, y'know, why no one I work with will ever find out the existence of this blog if I can freaking help it. You just don't really need to know what people you have to deal with in a professional capacity are up to on the internet. Srsly.

I kind of hope it's, you know, heterosexual fan fic or it'd be even freakier.
I *think* it was, because she was showing it to one of her subordinates (!) and I don't think she would be doing that if it was, whaddyacallit, slash. But, again, I really don't want to think about it too hard. Really.
I'd totally forgotten about distinguishing that part of fan fic as slash.
Good. Cause the thought of anyone in Led Zeppelin doing each other, or Harry Potter, or.... [shudder]
First I've ever heard of music fan fic. Which probably means I'm just out of the loop. Bet The Beatles would have inspired some interesting fan fic back when they were young enough to excite nubile young women, not AARP members.
My local subject matter expert says that I'm still locked in the 20th century:
"There has been band fic for years. "Band slash", as a bigger form, started up in fandom in the later days of N'Sync and Backstreet Boys, and is currently roiling around bands like Panic! At the Disco, Fall Out Boy, Cobra Starship, etc. etc."
Nothing about Led Zep, though.
