Hey, I remember how smug you were when the Red Sox dumped Manny, and now look at who's the best team in baseball.
Meanwhile we have a gimp with a reconstructed hip at third base and a career minor leaguer starting the most important game after Opening Day. Plus the Red Sox have pissed off Jason Bay so much he'll probably sign with the Yankees as a free agent in November.
I think it's pretty obvious that Theo's already thrown in the towel on this season. I mean, discarding a player who's worth $9 million/year. What's he thinking?
My predictions: whatever team Julie hooks on with goes errorless for the rest of the season as he hits .315, now that he won't have to deal any longer with ungrateful, whiny Red Sox fans. Meanwhile Pedro pitches the Phillies into their second World Championship in as many years.
